Decided to check the food out this time. We split three types of tacos. We couldn't just pick one. Had the steak, papas, and kalua pork. They were good. The pork needed some more seasoning, perhaps some garlic. We had a beer and margarita. The ambiance is great. The art and plants are beautiful. The women are very nice. Great vibes.
I always get the burritos when I come here! The atmosphere is the best aspect, both indoor and outdoor. The burritos come with chips... but no salsa which I find kind of weird. Overall a must try place in fountain square! Has nice outdoor patio in the summer.
Came back with friends -- large patio table outside was great for 6-8 people. Try the carajillo cocktail!!! Espresso and licor 43 was a hit!
We came here for Cinco de Mayo this year. Great choice for this fun holiday! This cantina is split into three sections. When you walk in, you enter the front bar where the walls are decked out in Day of the Dead decorations. Next, you enter a tiki bar, a semi-outdoor bar space with a surf-inspired theme. The back section is the patio with both high top and low top tables. The high tops have colorful umbrellas, good for shielding you from the glaring sun. It was a beautiful day, so we chose to sit on the patio, which was filling up quickly just 15 minutes into opening. We started off with a pitcher of margaritas. They're fresh and not too sweet, especially with a salted rim. They go down so easy! For food, we had the chips and guac. It's not often I like restaurant guacamole, but this was pretty good. Once we finished off our pitcher, we each had a Spicy Margarita. The habanero tequila adds a hint of heat. Just enough so you know it's there. Absolutely delicious! At this point, we went ahead and got some chips and queso. Yum! Our server was fantastic! She was SO friendly and had the BEST attitude. She was also super attentive. This was a great choice for Cinco de Mayo! I'm already craving another margarita!
I LOVE the atmosphere in here! The decorations are on point, the staff are all helpful and kind, and the warm glow of the lights definitely made me want to cozy up and stay for hours! I ordered the Melisandre for me drink and it was delicious! The menu description didn't mention the flame, which was an exciting added tough. The drink was also refreshing and they definitely didn't skimp on the alcohol. It was strong but was in no way overpowered by the alcohol. I ordered the Kalua Pork tacos and will say, they were generous with the amount of pork in there! Just a bit too salty for my taste and could've used some type of sauce to add to it to balance the amount of salt and pork. The price range was perfect. My friend ordered a burrito and it was massive! Definitely enough for three people (with medium sized appetites). I want to come here again to try other drinks on the menu. So glad I stopped in today!
This place was amazing! The food was incredible and the drinks were fantastic. The service was super quick and the staff was extremely friendly. I could not believe the quality of the tacos and drinks! The restaurant had a tiki vibe with cute glasses. I would definitely recommend checking this place out for dinner and/or cocktails!!
